This policy describes what the Flavour Forge app does with your information. It is written to match how the app actually works: everything stays local unless you choose to send it somewhere.
Data stored on your device
Recipe text, ingredients, instructions, ratings, photos, meal plans and shopping lists are stored in the app’s private SQLite database and documents folder. They are not uploaded anywhere.
Camera and photo library
The app asks for camera or photo library access only when you choose to add a photo to a recipe. The selected image is kept on your device and is only used inside the app.
Network access
The app uses the network only when you import a recipe from a link. The page is fetched directly from the website you entered; no Flavour Forge server is involved. The website may log that request according to its own privacy policy. Imported text and images are stored locally afterwards.
Data sharing
We do not collect, sell or share personal data. The app contains no third-party analytics, tracking or advertising SDKs.
This website
This website is a plain, server-rendered information page. It sets no cookies, loads no third-party resources and runs no analytics or tracking scripts.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual recipes in the app. Uninstalling the app removes its local database and images. You can also export a ZIP backup from Settings and restore it later; the backup file is created on your device and only leaves it if you choose to share it. Because data is not backed up to a server, uninstalling without an export means the data cannot be recovered.
Children
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published with the app and at this page, with a new “last updated” date.
